Got a used Burb with fatigued factory bucket seats- ie. broken and bent framing inside the seats themselves. I'd like some buckets, maybe with arm rests for those long drives. Nothing too fancy. Any seats from newer vehicles (so easy to find at the wreckers) that go in fairly well?
For what you want I would look at a conversion van seat, great comfort and arm rests that fold up and out of the way.

That was going to be my suggestion as well.
This was my 95 GMC. I took the bench out and put some 88-98 van seats in there. I'd imagine they'd work just as well in an older style burb as I'm pretty sure the mounting tabs were designed for a flat floorboard. COMFY! Not to mention the driver seat was power and only needed a power and ground to operate.

My '88 Burb has factory buckets with folding arm rests on both sides of the seat. I just thought they all were like that.

Yes, I have the same. Just the seats are trashed. I was thinking the newer the donor vehicle for seats, the better chance of finding good seats.
