Alright the facts...

I blew my 6.2 up in my '89. Haven't touched it or opened the hood really since, I don't have the heart right now. IDIOT!

I can't drive around in my other vehicles all day I can't afford it.
Bought a 2000 s10 blazer for a good price and it runs good gets decent mpg (not like my 6.2 did). It's embarassing though, I've been driving K5's my whole life I just feel like it's blasphemy.

I need a good donor 6.2 to drop in my '89 until I can afford to rebuild the one in it right now. Money is tight ofcourse for me like alot of us and everyone is SOOOO PROUD OF THEIR STUFF! If anyone and everyone can keep eyes and ears open for any possible leads on a cheap runner, PLEASE let me know.

Just keep looking. I got my engine for $200, and it had 60,000 original miles on it They're out there, you just have to be patient and vigilant.

Same as Rene, got a cheap one sitting in the shop, but its a wee ways away from you!

I just sold my spare 6.2L for $300 with 30K miles on it (CUCV takeout). Some good deals can be found out there.
