Been searching for a while and cant seem to find a good thread with Pics of SAS rigs and tech articals and what not. Anyone have any good leads or can point me in the right direction? For 87 and up rigs BTW.

I'm looking for the same thing. Thinking a Ford D60 and some 12" wide wheels with 38's for my crew cab 2500.

Well for me, I am just looking for clean, smallest lift possible on 35" or so tires. I just want to see more about how the rear shackle hangers work and how to get the smallest lift possible with the cleanest job.
When I was going to do this around the 2000-2001 time frame the issue (with the leaf spring kits available at the time) was that the stock engine crossmember limited you to about 4" of lift at the minimum. Folks thought maybe a lower lift could be done but might involve custom crossmembers up front. The guy who was going to be doing mine was game to try and then I had to sell the truck...

if you go over to fullsizechevy.com or gmfullsize.com and search for SAS etc you might come up with some good info. I havent been on there in awhile but I used to be able to find some decent info.
