Good Theft Deterrent Lug Nuts

the biggest problem i have with locking lugnuts is all the one's i've seen are defeated with visegrips IF you can get a pair of visegrips on em and they're not in a recessed lugnut pocket rim.

anybody seen any viable lugnut alternatives for steelwheels? K5 Blazer 1/2-20 RH.

You doing a 2wd K5 blazer ? 1/2-20 if 2wd size . 4wd is 7/16 stud & nut .

Or you upgraded studs and nuts on a 4wd .

I did wheels and tires for years and i dont think i would of ever got lucky with visegrips .

Way I see it as long as I don’t install 24” wheels with stretched bunghole mud tires I’m pretty sure my 16” wheels are safe.

I do run spline drive lugs on all 32 studs so it would be a bit of a pain to go after them. Plus the lugs are tight to the hole in the wheel.

My tires have to be taken off with a thin wall socket, impact socket won't fit.
