Was just wondering if anyone has ran the new Goodyear Duratracs on theirs vehicle?? was thinkin about gettin a set for my 75 3/4 ton chevy, it mainly a winter vehicle or summer hauler/recovery pickup. I heard good things about the snow/ice performance of the Duratracs, thats what im looking for, we get alot of snow here, i have the gov loc in rear and lookin to buy a limited slip for front, i love these old tanks in snow!

I have a set on my 99 2500. got about 5K on them right now, like em real well for on road, and have been in some shallow mud, sand, and some 2 tracks. All coniditions worked really well in 4HI....for a DD anyway.

I have set on my 95 k3500 they seem really good so far only have about 4000 on them

What size are you planning to get ? I've been running the BFGoodrich Commercial Traction TA's. They are awesome tires and cheaper than the Goodyears, but sizes are limited. I just had a Goodyear tire tread come apart(not duratrac) today on my 12K# Box Van causing some damage to the vehicle. Not happy with Goodyear right now. Not happy at all.

i was tossing around 31x10.50 or 33x12.50, give or take on width for now not sure, has 265/75/16 now

I don't have any info on the Goodyears, but also check out the Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's, I run a 285/75/16 , roughly a 33x10.50 , on my 00 cummins and love them. This is my 2nd set, the first set went 71k and were at 67k for the blizzards we received in the north east this winter, I had no problems with 20" and more snow. They ride great, wet traction is awesome, and nice and quiet. I have had BFG's, Uniroyals, Michelins, and Goodyears on this truck and will never run anything else from now on.
My new ones (the Revo 2's , first set were Revo 1's) are also E range and ride as well or better then the D ranges did. I tow and haul alot and they are great with it as well.
Just my $.02 :D
