I am trying to look at Moab on google earth just to see if I can pick out any trails or anything like that. Problem is I have never been to Moab and I have no ****ing clue what I am looking at? Anyone point me in the right direction from Main street in Moab:D

I just did a quick search on yahoo and the very first site was this one.

http://www.4x4now.com/mu4wd.htm

Has map with highways and trail locations.

You maybe able to find more but I have to get back to work and I just thought I would help you out real quick.

Edit: Good luck looking for trails on Google. I tried it. You can see the trails leading up to the rocks but once they hit the rocks the trail disappears. And you really cant tell what the contour of the rocks are to get any useful info out of the map.

Here ya go, it's the start of Hell's Revenge and Dump Bump. East of Moab, Hell's is the easiest to find since a lot of it is slickrock, and there's the dark tire marks on the rock. Poison Spider Mesa is west of town, off of Hwy 279.

You can tilt the horizon on Google Earth to look at the elevations.

Yep that is why I was looking for the trails. I wanted to get an idea of the terrain. I have noticed pictures generally do not do the terrain justice.

I gotta go to Blazer Bash one of these days:D
