I have had one of these bernzomatic compact torch kits for a while. I LOVE it for around the house stuff, lighting charcoal, etc.
BUT, the replacement fuel cans seem to have disappeared. Just as usual, once I find a product I like, the stop supporting it.
The refills look like this

And the whole shebang like this

Does anyone know where to get refills?
OR, has anyone figured out how to refill the cans?
I have had good luck refilling the small green camping stove cans from a 20lb tank using an adapter, but these powercell cans are of course odd balls.

AND the lamest part of my whole story?

Today is the first time I have fired up my grill this summer. Sad eh?

BUT I have a good excuse! One of my tenants upstairs is a grilling freak so we've been using his all summer.

Looks like they may have discontinued that particular cylinder. I think they have replaced it with this one.

Holds more than the original.
May or may not be refillable.

This search may help.

Also, since you are in NY, this store is a Bernz dealer. You might check to see if there is one in your area.

Thanks for the links.
The Fat boy is like most standard propane cylinders. The threads are WAY too big for this torch. If I had to guess the OD of the cylinder threads is about 5/16.

And the hardware store link shows no one even close to me.

Thanks though!

The Fat boy is like most standard propane cylinders.

I couldn't tell for sure. All the links to it that dimensions seemed to show the fitting as different from the standard.
I have used the short fat cylinders for the regular torches. but they were not named Fat Boy, and I was hoping it was different.

Bernz has been bought out by Worthington, and they may have discontinued that model.
The torch is no longer listed on their website, and the part numbers do not link to anything.

You might send them a irate E-Mail, and they might send you a free torch replacement or something.
Or an adapter so you can use the standard cylinders. That would be the smart thing for them to do.
At least there would be some support for their customers that way.
