got 20 grand?

haha $27k on the "engine build", either he is the most gullible person on earth and got hosed by a shop, or thinks everybody out there looking at his truck cant tie there own shoe and eats applesauce....and has $20k laying around..

I think thats 27K on the engine mileage maybe?

And cute heater hoses.

Apparently this guy has no intentions of selling it. 27k in the engine? For just over 30k he could of had a motor for a pro-stock.
Backed with a np208? Oregon must have some powerful mushrooms grow'in up there.:haha:

I hope will be worth that or more when it is done.:haha:

I bet his wife wants him to sell it and thats his way of keeping it..

I Hate It When People Capitalize Every Other Word. Dumb Fcuks.

That thing actually looks familiar.

Might just be that it looks like 50% of the white Blazers with 4" of lift and 35's out there...

...but it actually does look familiar for some reason.

Dudes...he said 27,000 on engine...this would mean miles and not dollars...easy to miss. Looks/reads like he paid full fair for all of his work...labor & full retail for parts. I know it would easily run more than that up here.

Yeah I think he means mileage.

Maybe he paid $12,000 for that winch...:surepal: Don't forget about the carbon fiber clutches in the posi.

I've heard those carbon fiber clutches are NOT the best choice for clutch material.

its cause they will cha chaa chhaaaaa chaattteerrr.

I bet he might have that kind of money into it though. You take it to a shop thats 75-100 bucks an hour 40k can come up really quick. He is an idiot for doing so but nonetheless

I spent more than that 20 yrs ago when I bought mine new and did all the things I did to it over about 4 yrs time. I figure it will cost me more than it is worth be the time I get it back on the road, but o well.

And I'm doing aout 90% of the work myself.

Those Torgue converters are what all the drifters use, along with the clutches in the posi. And wow what power with 8.5 to 1 compression that is so stock like. Sweet.

When you take it to the jiffy lube for periodic maintenance and the car wash where you pay while other people wash your vehicle it really adds to the investment amount.
