Its been 3 years in the making but got the 60 :cool1:

Questions are

How do you tell if the brake calipers are good?
I took them off and looked at them looked ok. So I put them in a vise
and compressed the piston went good then put air to the caliper and the
piston moved reinstalled in the vise compressed felt smooth so what do you think?

2) Will my SS brake lines from my 3/4 10bolt fit on the D60 calipers?

3) Drag link from the box to the arm is it the same?
Reason on this is the drag link I just replaced all with new ends
would like to use if possible.

4) Is there any other thing I sould look for when going through the D60

Thanks

Bo

draglink is the same and your brake lines will bolt up. I replace calipers when they are more flakes of rust than actual metal. Don't know the real way to tell. I'd say replace them, new ones will be better than driving around with ones you don't know about.

Make sure the bleeder valves work, i checked the calipers that were on my 60 they seemed fine so i spent alot of time grinding them down for 15" rims just to find out that I couldnt bleed them because the valves were in there for good, so now i have new calipers and 16.5" hummer rims
