Saturday i went and picked up a K5 from a fellow member (SF87K5) its an 85 K5 blazer with a 355 engine, 203 Transfer case, 14BFF rear and 10 bolt front, for pics go http://community.webshots.com/user/nerraw117

now i was thinking of what everyone thought about it, and anyone think of any plans? full trail rig (only drive it to trail, dont care about looks), half/half (care about looks, drive it every once in awhile and wheel it every once in awhile)

i was leaning toward the trail rig

PS. the rust on the lower front quarters are a little worse now then in the pics, but thats all the rust it has is them couple of places, know a good place to get them front lower quaters at besides lmc?

Trail Rig!

IMHO, your rig would need a lot of cosmetic work to make it a 'half-and-half', so I'd just finish the job of tearing it apart. Rather than spend $$ on interior and exterior cosmetics, spend it on suspension and drivetrain mods. Looks like you can have a lot of fun with it!

At least Danny's truck went to someone that seems to care about it. i personally like the double duty build...saves needing a trailer and a tow rig and can still be a hell of a lot of fun.

It doesn't have to be especially pretty or pristinne to serve as a street driver as well as wheeler.
