Just picked this up today, 67 longbox, Newer 1/2ton axles, brand new 6" lift, Almost new 36" swampers, Rally wheels with new rings and caps, New shocks, 700r4/208 All I need is a motor, and some paint.

I need suggestions as to what color to paint it, I dont want any metallics.

1975 Covette yellow with black trim. It hides alot of stuff and it looks cool. I had a 1972 Ford shortbed I repainted that color. It came out sweeeeeeet !!! All yellow with black rims, grill outline, bumpers, mirrors, door handles, ect. Nice truck by the way. Dare I ask........................$$$$$

$1500:D

The plan is to flip it, So its gonna be a real head turner, I was kicking around painting it red like my blazer, I dunno.

here is the before and after of the blazer

that thing is badass. are those years of trucks common up there?

Seems like everyone has one in there pasture out in the country, just none in the junkyard thanks to the crusher and not too many driving around on the road, so I love having a real head turner, This one will be as well

Stock colors or make it match your other ride. A matching fleet is always cool.

If you were going to keep it i would say there's nothing wrong with the paint but to flip it i would go with the stock chevy medium green that they used around that time. I had a 71 C-10 medium green with a white roof and white stripe so i may be biased towards it. Just dont paint it Ochre like my 72 was!

Why paint over that perfect patina of time and experience?...but if you hafta you better go with Resale Red like your blazer.

i would say the red like the blazer, gets your attention, easy to notice (especially with a for sale sign in it)
