2004 silverado SS. 98k. Awd.
It is flipping sweet and pretty zippy. Needs more pep for me tho lol.

Going to get hung up in the rocks......Put 42s under it with no lift.:D

You know. Whenever it's on the lift for tires I always think I should find a way to lift it and put it on 35s. Would be a sweet mall crawler lol.

If a mod sees this, can I haves this moved either to other rides or the driveway. Moon a turn it into a "mild" build thread as I've been doing more work to it lately.

Guess since I've put 20k miles on this in the past year might as well do a little update.sitting at just at 120k.

Since I've got it I've done mostly just general maintenance but until I get my 81 back I'm gonna be toying with it a bit

So I put a new set of Nittos on the factory wheels while I decided what I wanted to do.

Originally I was planning On getting new rims but I've grown to like these. They're actually a gm performance option wheel and you don't see many around even on the SS forum.
I know I'm gonna powder coat them as there was a bit of wear but I wasn't really sure on the color. Thinking now I'm gonna go gloss black. Did a test run with some flexi dip to help me decide.

here is where it was at for a bit.

I had a wheel hub unit bearing setup go out. so took that time to do both unit hubs, and a set of SSBC Rotors & pads all the way around.
not sure if I have a picture of that at all

so when I bought it, it had some flowmasters on it, but it wasn't vocal enough for me.

so now its straight piped, but I used a dual outlet tip, I really like this setup.

pretty loud outside, but as it pushes out to the side the cab stays fairly quiet.

somewhere in there I added some tint, and a remote start.

also early on I put a diablosport tuner on it. already has a K&N CAI from when I bought it. (actually just serviced the filter this afternoon)

anyone that has a newer chevy that has heated seats... if they don't work this is way.

the elements short out and burn out. this is why mine hasn't worked since I got the truck.

finally sacked up and swapped them out today now that winter is over. soon as I lifted the seat cover, the ashes started falling out. anyway, now its warm and toasty

the reason I've started updating is I'm getting a little more serious about some go fast goodies.

just shopping and planning at this point but here is the breakdown...

holley mid rise intake

comp 273 cam w/ better springs
long tubes and cat deletes

3000k stall trq converter
corvette servo and upgrades for the trans

all that will be finished up with a custom tune.
I figure that will hold me over til the truck is paid off.

at which point I'm going to put on a On 3 Turbo kit. the only thing that wont carry over will be the headers but that's ok.

anyways, so that brings us pretty current I think.
