SCK5Blazer
1/2 ton status
And it's another s-series, a 1995 Blazer...said I was done with these things, but I couldn't pass it up. My first 2nd gen Blazer though and the only reason I got it...it has a fuel injected Vortec 350. Not a fan of the green so I may end up painting it, but right now wheels and addressing the rear suspension is top priority. The axle wrap is unbearable when you bury your right foot...I'd like to go with parallel 4 link, panhard bar, and coilovers. Then eventually add ART upper and lower tubular arms up front with coilovers and then maybe upgrade to the vette brakes. I have to get the k5 drivable first though, it's been waiting too long already.
It runs and sounds pretty good, has ac and the interior is nice aside from needing to swap out the tan seats and door panels...but I already have seats that will match. I have a 98 up dash too, but I'm not even going to attempt that...I'll live with the tan dash. I'm heading out for Gatlingburg, TN for a few days this coming tuesday and I think I may even make the 4hr drive up in it. Here are a couple pics I took with my cell.
