Can you re-vulcanize a radial?

Yes, tires shops do it every day. most tractor trailers are running radials these days. the get repaired and retreaded all the time. take the tire to a profesional tire shop, not your local firestone, a place that works with commercial equipment.

If I remember I will get a shot of the cut in my 44 thats on my woods truck. it's in the tread but if you air the tire up over 15 psi you can see and touch the patch. But it's a huge patch and applied properly. If I was going to run it on the street I would have sent it out to have it filled.

im gonna call around and see if i can find a commercial tire place that can patch it, i paid like 350$ a tire, and my truck doesnt go very far very fast, the furthest it usualy goes is down the street to the gas station. im looking for some 38' michelin xml's or some 40' iroks right now for the long term
