well, i paid 75bucks for it...delivered from about 2hrs away.... it has been sitting for like a year, but in pretty good shape..... it's an 8lug 44, he said it's an 83axle...but that would be a 10bolt....either way, he even threw in flat top knuckles for it.....all it needs is one lockout hub.....brakes and everything included with it....can't go wrong for that price....im gonna hold onto it for a future project. just figued i'd share my joy with ya'll.:D

Sent you a PM.....

Sounds like a good deal to me. I had a pretty good deal go through as well. Went to a local yard, check stock, and measure a couple rear 60s for my S-10. I need a 700r4 tranny for my 92, and for the he!! of it, asked if they had any. Said they have a rebuilt one, already out for $250. I thought that was little high, but told them that I would walk around and think about it. I walked around, didn't see too much, (looking for 3/4 ton Dana w/flattops) and ran into him again. Ran into him again, asked him bout a 60 rear, said he would make me a smokin deal. long story short, got a 700r4, Dana 60 rear 4.10s(63" wide), and a center Dana 44 with a Powerlok and 3.73s for $220.

Mid 60s Ford 3/4 tons. Actually found a bunch of them up there today. Was looking for a 5 lug 60 out of late 60s early 70s Ford 1/2s, but found only 9". I didn't measure it, but found a Dana 70 out of a 70-72 crew cab Ford....little tooooooo big for what I need...
