well im looking at buying a 85 blazer 350 bord 30 over and has a 2/2/4 inch cam
4 inch lift with 35s. my question is what does 2/2/4 represent in the cam world i dont know anything about cams and would like to know the seller did not list brand or anything

It means absolutley nothing. It's a term used by old timers to describe a cam that is supposed to be something special. Same thing as "3/4 race cam."
 
so i would have no idea without pulling the cam to find out what exactly the specs are, if he does not have any more info

Pretty much. If you had a dial indiactor and degree wheel you could figure out the specs.
