Automatice locking hubs? I don't think so. Those didn't apear till 80's and that truck I would lay odds on has a 203 so it's full time and no hubs at all Leather seats in 78? again I don't think it was available...looks like vynal to me. Leather at that age would be cracked. Not to mention if it had leather it sure would have power windows not manual as is clearly visable in the pictures of the interior. No power lock buttons either but it lists them. This looks like a major scam!

Buyer Beware cause eBay doesn\'t give a flip!
Well I wrote to eBay about how misleading this add was and here is their blow off and my reply to that.
Well I don't know how much clearer it get's than pictures. Like I pointed out, the Add says "power windows and locks". The picture of the interrior clearly shows a manual window crank and no power lock switch. I gave you links to veiw original sales brocures from the 78 sales information that would show that Leather seats were not an option. That link can also give you information on when Auto locking hubs first showed up since it has almost every year brocher out. Hope somebody that is less observent than me doesn't get ripped off.
Most of what I read in your policys that you provided links to that would concern this is that misinformation in regards to what your selling is a no no. To be quite honest I doubt that anyone would bid on the truck because his price is so unrealistic.
But what ever you say

E bay was pretty good when it first started out. But there sure are a lot of scammers on it now. I have heard and seen some real horror stories about stuff people have bought on there. People have bid on vehicles and drove many miles only to find a rusted hulk that in no way resembled what was pitcured.
A lot of times a seller will have many different log on names and will bid on his item to drive the price up You may actually be bidding aganst the seller or one on their firends. They can also write as many favoable comments as they want about themselvs.
My wife almost got ripped off royally on a sewing machine she bid on. Before we payed for it I checked the model number at a local sewing shop and found the machine was worth less than half of what the reserve was. I refused to pay. And politely told them why, and offered to pay what the machine was worth.
The seller sent a strongly worded e-male demanding paymen. Or else!
I e-mailed back wondering how much it would cost to see how far I could shove that machine up his A## and if I could rotate it while doing so.. Never heard from them again.

I agree leather seats are not an option but Just being old does'nt mean they will be craked. My 57 buick roadmaster75, has leather seat trim and it is in very nice shape. Car has 52,000 original miles and has only had the chrome redone.
I have seen several brown blazers with the white top. Also 2 tone paint is an option not standed on up scale models. Also the truck does have the cheyenne interior, the base truck does not have the brused aluminum panels. Maybe the dude don't know the difference.between fulltime andmanual and auto hubs. Since you don't have to lock a hub on a 203 he may think auto. I have found if a seller makes a mistake if you email them and correct them they will update the item and are thankful. Did you try to email them? I highly doubt he is out to get anybody. I'm sure if you emailed him and let him know he would be happy because that could cause problem for him. Just because someone is selling somthing don't assume they are all knowing. I did have a 78 with white top and it was red.
