Got Irok's?

RFJ. the grill isnt mint, its all cracked and the chrome is peeling off. I want to get a new one but I may put a late model front clip conversion on and I dont want to spend $300 on a grill when the whole new front clip is only $800 with fenders, hood, lights and grill.

Looks good in the pic. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Re: Got Irok\'s?

Have you had DW since? Rolling along today, in town, hit a little bump and had my first DW experience /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif. I don't have a steering stabilizer on, but I'm thinking I need one now. Also it appears that I bent my tie rod slightly yesterday while I was on the trail. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif After hearing about death wobble for a couple of years and never experiencing it myself, that was something I'd rather not repeat! I thought I was losing a wheel!

It's fun for sure /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
I got to experience it on the maiden voyage of the D60 with no steering stabilixer or hydro assist. The oucker factor went to HIGH real fast

Amen to that on the pucker factor. I haven't felt that kind of adrenaline in my last few wheeling trips /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif And btw, I know I'm a blubie now /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif - probably will be for a little while.

Re: Got Irok\'s?

Ive had em out a couple trips so far and they work awesome. Polaris, I did hydro assist and I got rid of my deathwobble. I think the deathwobble is from my broken frame and I also didnt have a steering stabilizer on at the time. Oh and I still havent broken my 10 bolt up front running these LOCKED on the rocks. Hell I spin my tires a lot too. Heres a non poser action shot from the Hammers.

I bet those damn things are bigger than my 38x13x16 TSL's!

How tall are they, mine measure out to a little over 36" and 13" wide.

A guy in our club just put a set of the 36" Irok bias-ply's on his TJ. I went trailriding with him on Saturday and was able to compare them to my 13/38-16 TSL's. I had about 15 PSI in my TSLs and he had around 10 in the Iroks, and when parked side by side you really couldn't tell any difference in height and the Irok's definitely looked wider.

Very nice! That looks like fun /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I'm glad to hear your 10 bolt is doing fine. I worry just a little with those tires on my Dana 44. I was able to bend my tie rod back into place, and put a steering stabilizer on. We'll see if it happens again. I'd love to go hydro eventually.
