Looks like the U-joint cups are about 3" in diameter? :eek1:

Not sure what its number would be, but I'm guessing its about 6inches across with the caps on.

Whatever size it is its ****ing huge :eek1:.
 
the fleetguard filter in the background looks to be comparable, but its a little ways away, that globe valve on the tank isnt too small either, 2-3"??

man, that's a big JOINT:D
 
the driveline runs 2250hp between an Allison S9810 and a big quint frac pump. the u-joint in this driveline is not the weakest link actually. the 12 bolts that hold the flange to the pump input pinion are engineered to be the fuseable link if the pump ever stalls at full power. :eek1:
