Sweet!!--you going to convert to SRW hubs or leave the duallies?

Well, I am goign to try and leave it DRW 'cause I would like to run Hummer rims. We'll see. It will be getting tore down to a bare housing and narrowed quite a bit since this isn't going into a K5. :thumb:

congrats man

It is a super freakin heavy boat anchor! ;) Man, this thing weighs a ton. A friend and I put it in the back of my truck. I thought we both were going to strain the family jewels!!!! :)

Thanks!!!

Specs according to what is written on the axle tub in paint marker:

1985 GM 4.56 gears

:thumb:

For those of you who need'em, keep an eye out... The gears will be popping up on the For Sale board soon... :D

$500?! Damn, I wish I could find a deal like that... Good job, man! :D

Welcome to Ohio...despite our messed up weather and general boringness, we have dirt cheap 60's. Shhh, don't tell anyone though:D

Orange - Keep looking, one will pop up. I have been kind of looking for a while! Passed on a few I shouldn't have... Lost one that was around $225 and then another around $300... But I just didn't get in a hurry and waited. My buddy called me with this Saturday and I told him SOLD! :)

Dark - LOL.. Nah, I'll be making one with a DIY4x cover ring! :thumb:

84 GMC - It's going under my 91 Toyota..
Here's a link to the build-up: LINK

Atho - Ya, there are good deals in this area if you keep an eye out.. Or have friends who are D60 whores!! ;)

Oh yeah...I like to gloat about how I got my SRW Dodge 60 for $150 from the local JY, that Jerry bought his DRW 60 from too (which I thought you had bought off him). We joke about how the guy there just doesn't know what they're worth. Heck, mine had already been pulled from the truck and everything! Just looks like its been under the Atlantic for about 20 yrs :(
