Got my 14 bolt ff and 36\" swampers

Put my 14 B FF in my 85 K5 last saturday. God it looks sweet, I also put my 36x14.50x15 TSL radials back on. I cant wait to get my gears and locker and go play. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Wow, stock springs? I'm definitely gonna be fine at 6" of lift and hacked then with my 38.5s. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

84_chevy_k10, you you will. I am going to do a 6" front springs and a echobit flip with a 1" zero rate for the back. Some time in the future I will be running 42" TSL's.

My manual regulator for my window broke along with the handle mechanism. I found a regulator in PA, now I just need to get the handle parts and I will be back in buisness.

That's what I've got now, 6" springs and the Echobit flip in the rear. With the D60 I'll be sitting an inch higher or so. I'm ditching my body lift so that'll put at 6" or so of lift and I'm gonna run my 38.5s like that.

I think I am going to try to take the lip off the cab floor like steve fox did so I don't have to worry about rubbing. I definitely don't care about hacking metal away I just want to keep my inner fenders.

Tim here is what the tire to finder clearance looks like with stock springs and 1" body lift and poly body mounts. I am going with the TC springs from ORD.

The 14 B is 3.73 and the front is 3.08. I cant wait to get my 4.56's put in so I can use my swampers again. When I had my buddies 35" BFG MT's on I never rubbed of had the springs maxed out when we where up in Uwharrie. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Tim, yeah I need to do something about the front. I am thinking about cutting it at a angle so it will clear the tire. But remember mine has no lift, so with a lift it whould be good.

I wasn't saying you have an insufficient hack job. Looks great actually. I just took a few more inches off the rear of the front fender.

thats fricken awesome..36's with 1" lift..thats awesome!! ive thought about just putting some zero rates on all 4 corners of my truck along with the 2" add a leafs so ill have around 3 inches of suspension..and then like a 2 or 3" body..give me around 5-6" of lift..and would be a really cheap way to go, and throw some 3/4 tons under it..untill im lucky enough to land a 60..and stuff the biggest tires i can on it, with some good fender trimming, enough to wear i can max them out pretty good, of course i do maniy all mudding so flex isnt usually to much of a worry. but i think a setup like that or something would do pretty well for me!

That's exactly what my friend did...he took my 1st suspension lift from me. I had put an add a leaf in the front and a 3" block in the rear with stock everything. A few months later I went to a 4", a year later a 6", then the 3" body....

My buddy took my old add-a-leaf and 3" rear block and threw them on his rig with a 3" body and put some 35s on his rig and its /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif for hardly no cashola expended.
