My neighbor has an HO 500 in yellow exactly like the one you bought, nice machine and I especially liked the tires that came on it from the factory, nice and meaty. He says that down hill gear down thing works good too.

We have a polaris Explorer 400 4x4, nice machine also and is almost as fast as the 500HO, probably because it's a 2 cycle. We also have a kawasaki 300 sport 2wd that I ride the most, is the fastest and I like it's light weight.
We are all rice farmers and use them to errigate with.

I am thinking about getting a 500 Scrambler myself before errigation season next year but don't know if I can afford it if I buy a dodge CTD this winter. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
