Those lines look like they would snag on something PDQ. Is there anyway to secure/harness them out of the way?

They were just line that to get everything hooked up. They have been moved and zipped tied now. I'll get a fresh pic tonight

Hello i have a silly quesstion does the ram have preasure on it in both directions does it turn the same left or right

The ram does have hydraulic pressure in both directions, but it is weaker turning one direction (right in this case) than the other. This is because the shaft (which is only on one side of the ram) displaces some of the area on that side.

As 38377k5 said, I do notice a little less power when the ram is going back in. But compared to normal power steering it's unbelievable. Like everyone says, you can turn the wheel on pavement at a dead stop with one finger pretty much.
I didn't do the pump mods yet and I may not if it works fine this way.

The pump is stock. I didn't do the radiator hose neck extension for extra fluid capacity because the upper radiator hose was in the way. If it needs more fluid i might just bend some lightweight tubing and get it tigged on there.

With West Texas Offroad, you ship them the steering box and they tap the extra fittings in there for you. Then they offer the hoses, brackets, and ram in a kit if you want it. They said they would modify the pump for free but that would have been $80 worth of shipping.

Yes they are poser shots. Maybe some real shots this weekend but its hard to show off assist. I'd mod the pump right now but I'm worried I'll take too much off the piston or screw it up somehow.
Might test it this way so if I mod the pump I can tell everyone how much better it was.
