got my iroks mounted....kind of surprised

well i got my 39.5x13.50 iroks mounted on 15x10 rims today...well with 30psi they are 38x15...if i had known they werent going to be true 40's i probably would have spent the extra money and gotten 42's. well they look like a solid tire reguardless, but not quite what i had expected. ill get pics tomorrow when its light outside, but i thought i'd jus B**** a little

anybody else with 39.5 iroks have weird measurements?

look at it this way.. you'll be able to turn them over better AND they won't brake parts quite as easy ...and that's still a BIG ol tire!!!

my 33" tsl's measure like 31.5

i know they are, but they dont look it at all anymore when they are on my truck....maybe its cuz at the place that mounted them they had huge tractor tires that were like 50" tall. ill post up pics tomorrow, my 64's will be done tomorrow as well

you are suppossed to measure from side to side, not top to bottom. Tires are going to compress with weight on them.

this was unmounted, I can't remember if I ever measured after mounting.

tires are long gone so I don't know.
