I was finally able to get the money together for my trans case for my 99 2500 burban that I bought from 6872xtc (Dave).

6872xtc.. I really like the burb!

I had been talking to GMC1977 (Ryan) about replacing my tcase for a while now and when I finally got it I was very impressed with the way it looked and the way it was even packed for shipping.

I am always leary of spending a lot of money with someone that I have never meet. I was half expecting it to show up in a smashed box and the tcase to look like it was just pulled from a truck and washed off.

It was packaged in a nice box strapped to a nice skid and the tcase looked great!:waytogo:

I am very happy with my purchase from you GMC1977:waytogo:

I'm glad to hear you are making progress! I still wish I would of had a clue of the problem before you bought it. I makes me very relieved to know that you are pleased with it in spite of that!!! Keep us posted!

The tcase had a hole in the top of the tail housing and it pumped the fluid out and burned up the clutch pack inside just like GMC1977 said. That is probably why you had a hard time figuring out why the 4x4 was not working.

Now I just need to figure out if it needs a new fuel pump or fuel pump relay maybe?
Sometimes it starts right away and sometimes it has to crank for 5 or 6 seconds. It does not matter if it has been sitting over night or I just drove it.
Also the gas gauge works but it started twitching back and forth real fast. It barely moves but it does it just enough and fast enough it looks blurry (if that makes sense).
