Friday, I sold my '83 6.2 Diesel for $1600.

Saturday, I sold my 1980 K20 project... sold just the body and frame for $300.

Saturday also sold my 1981 GMC K35 body and frame with 400/205 for $700 to be paid later.

So long trucks... may your life's be better off with different owners. :truck:

If I were moving to another hobby I'd have to sell about 50 more trucks.

Just needed money and the Diesel had to go. It already donated me a Dana 60 and I broke even plus 70 bucks on the rest of the truck.

The '80 I was going to put together and drive for a while then re-sell, but I just don't have time to mess with it before winter.

The other '81 I was parting out anyways, and a friend wanted to fix the frame and put it back together, so he got the rest of it. I got to keep the 350 motor, 14-bolt (which actually went under the Diesel before I sold it), and the Dana 60.

And I'm really eyeing a '78 Crew Cab 2wd 454/TH400 truck for 700 bucks. Do I need it? No. Do I want it? For some reason, yes.

I actually had my K5 up for sale. than I got some sense. lol. I was talking to a potential buyer about it and showing him all the good it has and all the upgrades, then I started to think, "Why am I selling this" I could never replace or recoup the cost for what Id have to sell it for. So, I told him, im keeping it. And that is when I went hog wild with the upgrades (bumpers, lift, etc )

Hey Allan, with as much buying and selling as you do, are you required to have some sort of dealer license?

There's a certain limit to how many vehicles you can sell per year. Not sure what it is. Most don't even make it into my name unless I actually have one driving and licensed. The Diesel was the only of the 3 in my name. The other two I just handed over titles for.
