Seller says he got it out of a barn. Problem is, it was listed at ebay in late Sept/Oct 2017 under a different seller (ended 10/5 at $1025 reserve-not-met / 9/25 30 bids $1525 reserve-not-met), but apparently parked in the same spot, and then previously by yet another seller in early June 2017 photographed in a driveway in Overland Park, Kansas (6/9 $1000, zero bids, buy-it-now price of $2500). The wording in all three prior ebay listing printouts I have sorta looks the same about the prior owner having it "since 1989", so it could be one owner the whole time with different pals listing it for him.

I see cars stored here and there. If they just spent a few extra minutes during parking it, I would imagine rust issue could be prevented.

Fatal fault with these was the roof design, it sat on top of the camper walls, it did not overlap them. Basically begged for rainwater and snowmelt to seep into the truck. I went so far as to keep mine under a canopy to get it out of any precip and away from the AZ fierce sun.

The "Got Rust" Chalet #0825 is relisted, this time with a buy-it-now price of $1900. https://www.ebay.com/itm/132545762977

The seller confirmed he was the owner the whole time since June 2017, and at least one of the prior ebay listers was an employee of his. I suggested that in last week's listing, he should take the money and run if he got anything over $600. It ended at $510, though, "reserve-not-met."
