Got \"Sherman\" back today.

The TH350 is a real kicker in this thing! I stomp the gas and the thing downshifts with power and slams into gear. I LIKE IT! Has a big shift kit in it too. Now, all I need to do is blow up my rear end! hahahaha I think that would be awesome if I was just driving down the road, or stopped at a light and just slammed the pedal and the axle exploded! JK

a guy i work with had is rear axle gears lock up on him at the top of an overpass. he rolled it and slid upside down all the way to the bottom. he walked away but it's still something to think about. no joking matter.

how long was your turn around time for tour tranny?
I get THE GENERAL back on monday and i took him in last tues.
very sad site to see him towed away.

2 questions. Do you use a NP241 or NP208? Also did you have to buy an adapter to fit the tranny to the transfer case? I've thought about buying a used TH350 for when my 700R4 goes out because I don't have a $1,000 lying around.

I use the stock 208 and yes you need an adapter, but won't have to move anything around. The TH350 is the same length as the 700R4. I had a shop put it in for me, but I have heard they are really easy to swap.
