But it was barely a drizzle, and it was over within 3 minutes, not even enough to worry about getting out the tarp. Whew!

I know that thing is super original but just a thought. Pull the interior, Line-x the tub, reinstall everything but the carpet's padding.

And maybe come up with a bikini top to at least keep the dash and seats dry. I used one with my '73 and it was a big help.

Yeah I have an 8x10 tarp under the backseat and 12 bungee cords in the glove compartment for emergencies. Just hate to ever have to use it...

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek1:

If I were Artzner, I'd leave the K5 all ORIGINAL. No interior linings, etc., NOTHING. Leave it a pure, virgin K5.

come to the dark side. you know you wanna. wheeling them is so much more fun then driving them like a scared little girl. If you put the first dent in it you will feel better about it then if you walk out of the mall to find someone has opened their door into yours. :D

Oh I would love to come to the dark side, but it will be with a lesser Blazer. Once I buy a house and have more room I will have trail rig.

I'd have one right now but I got nowhere to keep it or wrench on it.

i got stuck yesterday also but it came a flat downpour. i mean it rained for a good 20-30 minutes. i say screw it now i'm just gonna run with it off all summer. i hate messing with that heavy top. also thought of getting myself a car cover. hear they're good for when it rains too. my mom used to keep one on her trans am cause the t-tops leaked
