My buddy took my truck to the scales today. Needed to get some weights to order up the Alcan's-

Total weight- 6,720lbs
Front- 3,760lbs
Rear- 2,960lbs

That's totally empty/un-loaded with my buddy driving (180lbs+-) and less than half a tank of fuel in one tank and the other bone dry. I'm going to add one of Kert's Gauntlet front bumpers and a 12k Ramsey Patriot winch to the front, one of his Gauntlet rear bumpers and a cross bed tool box + 2-300lbs of tools etc to the back. That's a huuuuuuuge bitch! :eek1:

It is a crewcab dually mang...

The 02 at work weighs like 6500lbs so not much has changed over the years as far as weight of components in trucks...

Thats about right. Buddy's old 1 ton K5 was almost 7k with the 44s on it.

I am guessing mine will be over 7k once/if I am ever done.

im goin wheelin on the 11th, i will roll the scale in the v30. and see how much difference there is between a 454 dually and a 350 srw. seeing this thread has gotten me all curious and stuff. i should have the xzls on by then too.
btw my k5 with half a tank weighs 6250
and my wrangler with no doors and just me = 4300:doah:gutless turd too.
i got spanked on the freeway by a semi, with an empty trailer.
