sweet! now you gotta start some cool projects and get pictures of the welds! What all is required in getting 220 wired into your garage?

Yep gotta get some steel/tubing and look for a bender. We had an electric stove/oven wired to our box but we just got a gas unit so iam pretty sure he wired the welder outlet to the old stove spot since we dont need it anymore.

it would of been alot cheaper to install it urself... as it lookes like he just used romex.... very simple to install correctly...

what do you want to know?
there is alot that needs to refrenced to do it right, such as wire length, amp draw, that dictates the wire size. thats the only thing that needs to be made sure is all right, becides proper ground, conduit, and recepticals.

Its pretty simple when you have guys that tell you what size wire you need to run for the length you are running. I am an electrical idiot and still managed to wire up my spa, house hasnt burned down yet :haha:

them are nice welders... borrowed one for doing some body work and some misc. stuff like shock mounts... however the one I used had a small felt pad that was dripped with cleaner that was then clipped onto the wire before it got to the feedrollers. clean wire makes for a better weld.:waytogo:
