Got to see my buddy\'s new Doubler kit!!

WOW!! I was over at Bobby's house and checked out his ORD Doubler plate! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif Talk about beautifully machined and stout!

He put it all together himself. Found a 203 on the side of the road and rebuilt the 1/2 you use with the Doubler. Rebuilt his spare 205. We work together, it's all he talks about and I'm happy for him. He's mating it up to his SM465, with granny low of course. Should be better than 175:1. /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif All in a 67' Chevy shortbed. The Chevy tractor, as he calls it.

I know what I want for Christmas! /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

wow what gear ratio is he running? Rockwells?

We occasionally have people worry about putting an aluminum adapter in to their drivetrain but once they see it, we don't hear it anymore.
I like seeing a stack of 20 of them on the shop floor when we're doing a run, that's pretty cool too.
I think my favorite one is still the one in my K5, even though it's the older steel version. Mostly due to the fact that it's mine and it works.

i'm with you guys i drooled over mine for about a week before putting it in now it's the other guys drooling on the trail when i use it. the doubler is one of the best mods i have put in my blazer. thanks steven

Maybe we should get some little stickers or something that look like Doublers so that you can have something in a location you can actually see. I hate sticking some of the coolest parts where you can't see them, but that's kind of the way the world works, the best stuff isn't always obvious.
