Had it painted at 1-Day body & paint. The roof and hood had a lot of surface rust and the paint peel was about 65% so it had to be completly sanded and primed. Also went with the 2nd best paint job. Uses DuPont single stage urethane paint. Of course you pay extra for a color change package and two tone paint and an oversized vehicle....OTD w/8.25tax=$1400
Maaco quoted $1900 for basic enamel.

Seeing family I suppose... if you and yours are free anytime that day, maybe we could meet for lunch or drinks or something in one of Sunland's premiere eating establishments :haha:

I'm doing fine - trying not to whine like a little girl all day long cuz of the heat. In between out of town trips at the moment, which is great. Until the last week of July, when I have to go to the actual surface of the sun for a few days. Others call it El Paso...:eek1::eek1::eek1:

Tore up the front lawn a few weeks ago to put in new sprinkler system. Don't know what I was thinking. Thought I'd keep the trenches un-filled in until the dirt piles that appear to be concrete actually trurns into concrete. Should happen by this weekend. You should see it when you come down. It's quite the nightmare. Brings the entire neighborhood's housing values down a little. :D
