When you pay it has to some sort of electronic transfer, Wire the cash or credit card. And you only have a short amount of time. The bidding usually ends thursday afternoon and you have to pay by friday afternoon IIRC. If you set it up to go on your credit card make sure the limit is set high enough to handle the purchase. You don't want your card limit for a single purchase at 2500 when you make a 3000 purchase and get the charge kicked out. I know this because I did it

do you have a link to it? so we could see. i found one by me i might get for my dad. they are good trucks. i have about 12 of them now. i have seen them go for a 100 for beat ones to 4000 for ones you can pretty much do some small things to and drive
You register a credit card with govliq when bidding and your payment is sent automatically as soon as you win the auction. So as said above, make sure your credit card is ready to go. Then you have a certain amount of time to get the item. I have all my stuff shipped but if it's local you can pick it up just make sure you go during the authorized loadout times and make sure you call the base before hand to get all the information. You'll need 3 forms of ID for everyone in the vehicle, your registration, insurance, etc.
And make sure before you bid because if you bid and win, you buy it period. No one will care if you think that something is mis-represented.

Starts and runs...it will go for over 2k more than likely. I've seen a couple of shells on the west coast go for 2600. By shell I mean its missing lots of parts and doesn't run, half the engine gone and a door plus a bunch of interior as well.

It will go for about 2500- 3000 bucks. I buy them all the time. The ones that run usally run well and need nothing. I have bought them and they have brand new rears and front ends. Your dreaming if you think 500 will get it. Hell I drive 700 miles to pick the ones i get up so You can beat your ass I have that one on my favorites and will wait till the last second to bid. Oh and the auction will keep adding 15 minutes to it if you try to snip the bid . So put the amount you want to pay or welling to pay and let it ride. The time will not eextend if the other guy does not bid above you. So you stand a better chance if they are snipping the bid at the last second to have a higher amount on there. I have got them for 900 bucks but usally just one in a off the wall place. Then there is the titling mess you got to get it inspected then file a form then pay sales taxes on it. And since every body knows about that site it is like retard city over stuff like that. No real screaming deals anymore. But then again I got another line on them that not alot of folks know about.................:P

One huge complaint is they don't give out form SR-97s (SP, SF?). That's the form which says you legally purchased it and didn't swipe it. Your State is supposed to require one for registration. So how can GL refuse to give you one?
People do register them without the form but it can be a hassle.

They will give you a SF-97. You have to have the truck inspected 1st then fill out an application and submit your 65 buck handling fee. They use to give them out for everything. Now to keep the poeple from putting unsafe cars and trucks on the road they now require the inspection. Easy where I am from cause if its got brake lights and head lights and good tires you as good as passed. I dont like the extra 10 % they charge plus they are real butts when you go to pick it up. I have 1 lady that is super nice and helps me load with loader but all others are civiains acting like ASSSSSSS. And they like to move them around with a fork lift and crack the transmission and bend the drive shaft up. I had a mint condition truck and drove it off the base and the damn trans broke in half. And the other one i had the driveshaft was crushed.
Your best bet is to find one already on the road and all the bugs worked out.

I won mine for $895... after the buyers premium and taxes the total was 1053.42, thats for a truck without a transmission or transfer case and a blown engine.... I pretty much bought it for the 60 and the fenders.
