anyone know what rear end would be in a 94 grand cherokee with a 5.2? or a website where I can find out?

Should be an aluminium Dana 44. That is what is in my '96 w/ the 318. If not it's a Dana 35C.

Could be a Chyrsler 8.25 or a D35 too I think.

There were lots of aluminum D44's in Grand Cherokees though.

It's my little bro's. he is 100 miles away right now, and wants to order a locker for it. I have him sending me a picture of it so I can try to I.D. it so we oder the correct one.

If it's the aluminum D44 he's screwed. NO aftermarket parts for it as it isn't a standard D44 in any way.

I forgot about the 8.25. He lucked out. There was nothing for the AL D44 when I was looking.

Other than warped or broken housings.

The aluminum D44 was one of the big failures by the car manufacturers.
