I am windering if a 4.10 and 4.11 gear ratio's can be run different front to back. they are pretty damn close right?

Yeah you can do that. The difference is nil.
I had the same question a little while ago. I already did my gear swap so its too late now. Any way does anyone know how to they get a 4.11 ratio from 41 ring gear teeth and 10 pinion teeth? 
By dividing you get 4.10, so where does that extra hundreth come from?

Depends on the diff in question. 10 bolts were generally 4.10's (41/10) but D44's were 4.11 (37/9) 4.09's are also common enough (45/11)

I Just upgraded to a 14bff rear with 4.10's and am looking now for a compatible front D60. I spent thursday on the phone calling junkyards and found one for a pretty penny. I am probably going to have to buy it anyways. Today I went to 5 junk yards and found a Big Fat "0". nothin at all. I was surprised that there are very few trucks in any of the yards around here.
So back to spendin more monay than my Waif wants me to on somthin she see's as a Toy.
