Is there any way to grease the centering ball on a CV shaft? Both joints are good and the whole unit feels tight but I am getting a little noise from my rear driveshaft. There is no zerk for it so is there anyway to grease it?

sure about no grease fitting.

thay use a inverted fitting. and the gun requires the matching fitting.

and you most of the time have to remove the shaft to grease it.

Yeah I'm sure. My front has that inverted fitting and I use the needle tip to grease it.

If there isn't a grease fitting for a needle you could always use the needle and go through the seal at the ball if you can get to it easy enough (might have to pull the shaft).

Yeah I kinda tried that, but I can't seem to get any grease inside the cup. It seems to just wipe it off the ball when I rotate it.

high angle driveline cv's are supposed to have those, maybe you cna call them up and see how they add it or whatever.

Yeah its not one of Jesse's shafts. Just a local shop build i got used. Wonder if i could take it apart and add one?
