FOR SALE SOON!!
I'll be stripping this truck down soon to swap everything into a new project.
I'm keeping the following parts:
-motor/trans/t-case
-axles/rim/tires
-tool box/winch
-steering box
-hitch shackle

Complete '78 Chevy short bed body, frame and suspension.
EXTERIOR
*Almost no rust at all. (Only known rust is a rocker panel with a bubble under the paint)
*Both front fenders have small dents and are trimmed slightly for clearance
*frame was blasted and painted by previous owner
*steel roll pan
*"Orange Crush" paint with minor scratches for a 4x4 rig (would look great after a wax)
-Le Bra bed cover with all hardware and plastic bed liner
-Summit low profile rear hitch
-Warn Classic winch bumper with Pro-Comp tow hooks and el-cheapo lights
-Red poly body mounts with new bolt kit
-ORD weld-in steering/frame plates

INTERIOR
-Power windows and locks
-Bronco bucket seats and center console
-Great dash pad (only one small crack on speaker vent)
-toggle switch panel for winch and lights (tractor light under bed)
MISC
-Saddle tank was replaced by previous owner
-Headmen Elite long tube header with coating running to dual 2.5inch pipes, dual Flowmaster mufflers and turn downs under the bed
-Cheap old CD player (works but not installed)
-Rough Country 6inch lift (all springs) with DIY4X Ez-Inch in front to move the axle forward one inch (currently running 38.5x14.50r15's)

PRICE
- I'm looking to get $1,500 for everything. All you would need is to get that old, rusted, tetanus carrying Chevy and swap the mechanical parts. Or use this as a starting point for a 2.5 or 5 ton rig. Either way, it'll be one nice rig.
-Before you ask, I will only part it out if I can not sell it whole or if the buyer of the body/frame decides that they don’t want some of the parts.
Located in Miami, FL.
I’ll post up the pics that I have at work and some updated ones this weekend. If you need a specific shot, then let me know.

Damn...that is exactly what I have been looking to put my 6.5 turbo into...too bad you live sooooooo far away.

If you part it, I am interested in the lift! Or maybe the new owner would want a 4" instead ;)
