I just scored a 1950s craftsman bandsaw from my neighbor...
He said it needed a new motor. I gave him a case of beer for it.
Just the other day I was towing a buddy of mines truck, and just happen to brag about the saw. He gave me a motor he had laying around he thought would work with little to no mods. To find out it is an exact replacement. So i went home and just for kicks ran a new power wire to the old motor. What do you know, works great. So for a case of beer I scored a 1950s craftsman bandsaw, and a buddy hooked me up with an extra motor for it. Ill get a pic us of it one of these days.
