Anyone here live in greensboro? this summer im doing the build up and wanted to know if there was anyone who has put a susp. and body lift on before. or an axle swap also. im at app state university right now but am coming home for the summer. thanks

i also wanted to check out that place in charlotte you talked about where you can get those bds springs for real cheap.

i dont live in greensburo but isint that where the greensburo 5 went to school in the 60s?

I live about three hours away, but if you wanted my help and could offer me a place to sleep I would be more than happy to go help you one weekend. My e-mail is in my profile.

Dude get that thing jacked up and ready for some abuse at Uwharrie. If you ask 87BrnRsd's brother nicely maybe you can get enrolled in the Elliot School of Driving. :xmas:

Uwharrie has smashed in both rear corners on my truck and its ready for more. what is this driving school about?

We went to Uwharrie with Harrison and Elliot. At kodak Elliot was taking the bypass when a tree got hungry and ate the whole side of Elliots K5. :xmas: Then after we pulled him to the top the small sharp rocks ate a rear tire.

I live in Winston-Salem, but haven't done what you would call a real lift. I put 4" lift blocks under the rear of my truck and that's it. I've been a GearHead for about 30 years though so I might be helpful even though I haven't done a real lift (yet)...

I'm also new to the area though and would be glad to meet some folks to go wheeling with. I know a couple of great guys that live near Uwharrie and I've been down there once already since we moved here. I have a 4.5 year old son who loves to go too.
