Grey ghost

So after all this, hooked the truck up to a jump box, turned the key and zero power.

Gents, Ive fot this thing to the point rhat it ready to start. It has power, but wont start. The starter turns it over but not stary. Verifies that it is in time. Marks lines up, rotor pointed at number one and nothing. Any advise would be helpful ar this point.

Yep, fuel pump is running and had couple of attempts where it tried to start blowing fire out of manifold

Best I can tell, no. I pulled the valve cover to ensure the intake valve was closed. The marks were aligned. I will verify everything once more.

It ran fine prior to this. I will check everything abd get back to ya.

What happened that the heads changed colors?

You have done a LOT of work!

Ever figure out what gears you have?

Well, at first they were orange. Then I discovered the right head gasket was leaking to the outside. So, I pulled them and replaced the gaskets. Ran out of the orange paint, lol so I used the black. Yeah hoping to get it back running so I can get all back together.

Apparently the fuel pump relay was bad. I replaced it and it fired up. Now, if, I can get the timing right so it will run longer than 6 seconds. Lol

Slow going here at best. Had to replace rear portion of the brake tube to the rear axle. Now, I have to replace the braided line connected to the fuel filter, it is leaking. Can't catch a break. Master cylinder was leaking. Wonder why?

Not much to show, the front end is ready to go back on. Inner fenders painted and popped in.
