So I need help desiding if I want to paint my grill white again since the original white one I had in there broke. The replacement is the gray-silvery one. So should I leave it as is, or should I paint it white to match the body?

I like the white. Especially since you have the bezels painted white. But in my opinion, go white.

Leave it. Too much of one color is not a good thing IMO. Looks good the way it is.

I like the white, but since you asked :D, I think the trim around the grill that appears to be black would look better white. Just my $.02

I say leave it gray. It breaks up the whole late 80's early 90's look when people painted cars and trucks ALL one color, from the bumpers to the door handles.

True... Makes sense... You may wanna leave it alone for a little while and see how you like it.

I hear ya, but the truck doesnt have the old school rest look. At least thats not what I have been going for... I mean I dont have 20 pink shocks... lol

True, very true. But if you paint it black, it'll look like a police truck, if you paint it white, you could lose it in the snow, so gray is a good compromise. :D

I don't see anyone else suggesting it so maybe i'm just :screwy: but I think black would look really nice. Especially with the white truck, but leave the chevy emblem blue

paint it black pull the bezels and do the same, or pull the bezels and get gray ones too much of one color isnt always a good thing

I'd go black too cuz the bumper is black. but leave the emblem white.
I am a supporter of the stormtrooper look on vehicles:wink1:

But you DO have the goofy 80's Lund visor! :haha:

The white grille is a throwback to that whole "Euro-look" style that everyone was doing back then. (I don't believe you were born yet, so you'll have to trust that it was a tragic period in car styling). The grey is a much more tasteful combination IMSNSHO.

:usaflag:

I would do the grill black and leave the center bar either gray or paint it white. or maybe all black with a white bow tie.

are the headlight surrounds still white? if so I would go with white center bar and black upper and lower grill

I would paint the middle bar white along with the bezels, then paint the grille mesh part black as well as the bowtie, heres a picture of my "newer" truck painted in a similar way
