yes thats it...use the side by side headlight part(cross grille,buckets) put in hella lights where headlights go, use a 90-91 rad support that has side by light buckets in support

remove everything from fender to fender..then put that old grille on the support up top and make tube grille from fender to fender under it, w/85-87 behind grill turn signals....i love how that old grill looks w/chevrolet in the center...i will try to chop pic myself?

Yes except on the picture shown.

Overall I think it would look cool, not sure on how well it would work out though. The older grilles like that are much "shorter" than ours.

i'm no good w/photo shop..

i know its off some w/ real size proportions, b/c the old grille would take up less than 1/2 of the 2nd gens frontend from fender to fender , which would let over 1/2 the bottom be tube grille...i'm going to try some others eventually, my problem is sizing stuff,so it looks right....see why i said 90-91 frnt rad support, headlights side by side just round, i can see some offroad lights goin in it!

edit: old grill in top 1/2 of 2nd gen truck front...lower 1/2 tube grill from fender to fender w/ behind grill turn signal

i can't find any more good straight on pics of the old grill, or a second gen either(both being right size), so i can just cut and paste...i can't get the proportions right ,when i'm try'n to resize either 1
