I'm working on get the parts to do this swap as well. Any tips or tricks you discovered would be great.

yeah, i picked it up fom haun yesterday and got a 200 dollar speeding ticket on the way home/ CT sucks. it was complete bullshit. it was on i 95 and they got me doing 71 in a 45 (really a 65) not posted that i saw, becuase of construction!!

best tip is to get the whole piece as on, makes it much easier!!

it will look better when i get all the mud off it from its past wheeling!!!

How did the new lights work with your earlier wire harness. 86 right? The front clip I'm looking at is a 86 as well.

I am also planning to swap in a 81-87 front clip on my 79K5. I love the over and under head lights.
