Grinder Safety Advice Needed

Nice tree farmer, to be commandeered and used for clearing fields of zombies at a later date.
Back to grinder safety, Let it do the work that it can handle, meaning don't lean into the thing. I'd rather spend all day cutting something then spend all night in the ER.
I was rebuilding a carb once when I was a kid. Squirt, squirt, into all the ports the carb cleaner went until my good buudy ripped it from my hands, called me a pussy and proceeded to show me "How it is done"....
directly after stuffing the straw nozzle into a port and laying on the button, (of course safety glasses were also pussy in his book) the cleaner shot out of another port at full pressure right into his eyes.
As I caught my carb and the can of cleaner and he stumbled away screaming i said, "I dunno know man, my way looks a lot less painful"...
It's al relative, use common sense.
