Finally done about 4 hrs worth of :grind:on my 10 bolt. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. After doing the first one you get and idea of what spots to hit on the second. Only thing that sucks is the heat. :doah: Here's a few pics I went with 4 1/8 backspacing. Picked up some chrome crager wheels from jegs. They are wagon wheels but look a little better. Summit was back ordered on a lot of their 15 inch wheels. Anyone that is hesitant cuz they don't want to grind just go for it. :waytogo: Now off to remove the sway bar. Took the sway bar off and feels a lot better on the road. Now I need to get the exhaust done and a front driveshaft made.

yep thats about how much I had to grind on mine to fit my 4.25" bs 15x10's...

Be sure to toss some paint on them before you pop the rims on...

mine had 4 inches of backspacing and i only had to grind down one...i painted then spun the wheel to see were the high spot was then i just grinded down that area...mabye because mine were new they have been redesigned...i dunno

4 hours??? Were you using a Dremel? :doah:

Haha I'm just messin with ya. I didn't realize the caliper bracket/backing plate was necessary as well.

whats it look like with the rim on?
mine is really tight you would prolly have to grind just as much as his if my tires were balanced....i bought my boggers on wheels and when i put them on they had stickey weights on the inside of the wheel...i spun the tire once and tore off all the weight...i never could figure why someone would ballance a bogger anyway..

Here ya go couple pics of the new wheels. Nothing fancy just a clean simple blazer. Here is a before pic with the 8 inch lift. I liked the lift it just rode like crap for the street. :doah:

Just did mine too. Also shaded safety glass are needed to because some people can get " Flash Burn " from a grinder.:doah:

looks good. Do you have an after shot of the whole truck with the all the new goods on it?

edit, just saw the pic towards the top, but if you have anymore that would be awesome.

Man I'm jealous of the full vert.

Matt I have wanted a full conv with a/c overdrive and fuel inj for a long time. I almost sold it a few times but did not. I am going to keep her. With a hundred degree weather the top is going to stay on and the ice cold ac is going to blow. :cool1:
