I have a grinding noise coming from the right rear tire of my truck. Just recently finished my lift and put on new wheels and tires. I think it may be the wheel weights on the inside grinding on the brake drum. Did anyone have to modify their stock brake drums when changing wheel sizes. I am running 15x10's. It only grinds when turning left (weight is shifted to right rear)

Ugh unless they used stick on weights on the inside of the wheel I really doubt the wheel weight thought. Plus the weight shifting onto that wheel doesnt change the distance between drum and inside of the wheel.

What kinda a grinding noise we talking about. Like a dry bearing? Gravel in a motor bad?

metal on metal grinding that varies with the wheel speed. could it be possible if the little clip that holds the drum together broke/fell off that the actual drum could be touching when brakes are applied and turning?
