So attached is my idea for grooving and siping my 11.00R16 Michelin XL's.

I'm planning on grooving through the center of the blocks perpendicular to the tread direction. Then each of the newly halved blocks will get two sipes through it in the same direction.

Thoughts? Potential chunking issues?
Contemplating only grooving/siping the inner two blocks of each row.

I'm slightly buzzed so the lines aren't straight...but this should give you an idea.

what terrain will you be driving in? rocks and stuff, have them professionally siped and then grove the center two lugs like you have drawn. any street driving? mud in your future?

Street driving and then some trail work. Sand, a little mud (I hate mud), hills, trails, etc.

Rocks in northern Michigan...hah! Not unless I drive across someone's yard and flex on their lawn ornaments.

I do the siping myself, the knife does double duty.
