I pulled my ac compressor and all the brackets and forgot to mark where everything went or to take any pics. Does anyone have a few upclose pics of the bracket/wiring setup for the compressor...its an 87 K5 btw. I could use any help...maybe just a verbal on where the ground wire gets attached.

There is no ground wire that i'm aware of. At least on my 89 blazer there is just a 2 wire plug that plugs into the compressor. The gorund is just from the case being bolted to the engine.

Scott is correct, there is no "ground wire", just the wiring harness plug. Its case grounded.

The harness that has the 2 wire plug for the unit has a ground strap sticking out of it. It was attached to something but I have no clue where it is suppost to attach to.

Any of the bolts that hold the compressor on ... as mentioned, it's case grounded.
