Guage Diameter

What are the size of the factory guage openings. The four little ones on the left side of the instrument panel on an 89 GMC Sub. I am installing an aftermarket tranny temp guage and I was wondering what size it is. Thanks

Exactly the size for standard cheap gauges , 2 1/16 , they fit snug and the clamps and wiring have enough room behind it to avoid the gauge cluster . All I did was cut the plastic glass out off .

2 5/8 if you want to cut out the hole and mount flush. but the angle will be off a bit.
